GSO TAX CLINIC--now through April 15th
Mondays & Thursdays, 3pm - 8pm

This year’s tax clinic features a new contractor, the Soloway Group, for free tax and
financial counseling. The clinic also features a drop-off service for returns. No
appointment necessary. Open to all students, faculty, staff, and administrators of the SBU community.
If you’d like the accountant to do your taxes, the student rates are:
Federal 1040EZ and state: $30
Federal 1040A and state: $35
Federal 1040--Long Form: $80
Federal 1040NR EZ and state: $75
Looking for work in the non-profit sector or thinking about entering business? Then come to the next job/internship fair on Wednesday, March 10, Noon to 3 PM.
Employers will be on campus to discuss the organizations they represent and available job and internship opportunities. Students may meet representatives, have brief interviews, and leave resumes with a significant number and variety of employers. This Fair will take place in SAC Ballrooms A and B.

The next meeting of the GSO Budget Committee will be held on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 at 5:30PM in SAC227. ALL groups that wish to apply for funding for speakers or events that will be held between now and the November Senate meeting MUST come to this meeting to present their proposal; events scheduled for later in this semester are encouraged to present early, to allow more time for any changes to be made.
