Whereas, Project 50 Forward puts forth the idea of Shared Service Centers (SSC) as a feasible solution that demonstrates both fiscal responsibility and dedication to the academic mission of the University,

Whereas, as the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), we have advocated for a transparent and efficient use of resources that ensures the well-functioning of academic and research activities,

Whereas, to date there is no official document or communication explaining the benefits of SSCs and detailing step-by-step the planned implementation of SSC’s,

The IGSA Freshers Party 2011 was funded by the Graduate Student Organization (GSO). The event preparation had been going on for weeks. This was the biggest event organized by the Indian Graduate Student Association (IGSA).

Abstract: We are learning how to move information processing from the classical to the quantum realm. To complete this transition we will need a way to do certain operations with unprecedented accuracy. Topology will be an essential ingredient.

We have our first senate meeting on September 13th, 5:30 pm, location Wong Center room 201.

The first budget committee meeting will be held on September 6th at GSO's office, SAC 227, time 5:30 pm .
