Budget Committee Decision on Campus Recreation Center Reimbursement

Fellow graduate students,

The Budget of the Committee acted with the responsible management of GSO funds in mind to not increase the line for campus recreation center reimbursements (doing so would lead to a budget deficit). As always, the Graduate Student Organization has limited funds and each reimbursement is on a first-come first-serve basis. I am one of the people who turned in the form after the money ran out. It's unfortunate and inconvenient, but all lines must have limits. Adjustments have been made for next year.

Based on the Elections Committee deliberations, elections for the GSO Executive Council will take place on SOLAR, beginning Monday, April 29 at 8:00 a.m. and closing on Friday, May 3 at 5:00 p.m. All graduate students are eligible to vote, and can cast their ballot at any time during the election period by logging into SOLAR ( http://it.cc.stonybrook.edu/solar ). Candidates' statements are available below, and a write-in option will also be available on SOLAR.
